2/4/2010 3:41:44 PM I am 52 years old. I had open heart surgery March 3, 2009; one stint in July 2009 and 4 stints November 2009. I have small vessel disease. It took three years for doctors to listen to me. I encourage all women to listen to your bodies, you know it best. I have a family history of heart disease. Following my surgery, I found this pin. I bought one for my daughter, daughter-in-law, mother, sister-in-law, and two very dear friends, one who also has heart disease and the other who’s mother has heart disease. I have asked them to wear them to show their support for women’s heart health and to remember how serious it really is. Thank you for making such a beautiful pin to represent such a worthy cause. I wear a defibulator because the left side of my heart is only working 15%. I wear my crystal red dress everywhere.
