Sickle Cell Basic Information ( excellent!)
This explains all the basics of SC and is a good start. Most other sites are specific to some symptoms and do not really explain what SC is! I wish it would explain more about adult problems, such as pregnancy with Sickle Cell, Surgery risks; menstrual problems or any other blood loss situation which may cause undesirable symptoms. Is it related to augmented bleeding? Especially during menstrual cycles ( endometriosis)?
